Rashad Patterson is an Atlanta based youth development professional, teaching and mentoring kids on the importance of S.T.E.A.M. while helping them develop soft skills like leadership development, problem solving, and work ethic. He has taken his experiences mentoring youth and turned that into a series of children’s books that touch on topics involving colorism, abandonment, and racial profiling. A refreshing deviation from many children’s books that shy away from some of the very topics young people are experiencing, the books serve as a blueprint for parents to introduce their children to complex ideas in a relatable way.
